Powdrill lake is a diamond in the rough. This hike-in lake is abundant with walleye ranging from 2 to 4 pounds. Getting to Powdrill is half the fun. A short boat ride from camp, then a portage of approx half a mile hike to Powdrill. Upon your arrival to Powdrill a 14 ft boat awaits you, ready to launch. Fully outfitted with life jackets, net, cushions and motor. Ellis lake is another treasure in the "bush". Requiring more time and well worth effort to get there. The walleye and perch population is phenomenal. A well planned two day trip to fully enjoy both of our lakes would be the adventure of a lifetime for the true outdoors-man. We have a 14 ft Deep V boat at Ellis as well, and a temporary camp between the two lakes. |
