Powdrill lake is a diamond in the rough. This hike in lake is abundant with walleye ranging from 2 to 4 pounds. With traditional walleye gear such as worm harnesses and jigs an exciting day awaits for the adventurer at heart. Getting to Powdrill is half the fun. A short boat ride from camp, then a portage of approx. 1/2 of a mile hike to Powdrill. Bears and moose signs are plentiful along a very well-marked trail. Our staff member will guide you to the lake. Upon your arrival to Powdrill a 14ft boat awaits you, ready to launch. Fully outfitted with life jackets, net, cushions and motor.

Powdrill's solitude and beauty is amazing. No others, will be on the lake just you and the sound of the loon's and the splashing of walleyes. Bring your camera, Moose sightings along the shoreline are frequent.
Reservations for use of Powdrill are required and a one time guide fee of $100.00. Ellis lake is another treasure in the "bush". Requiring more time and well worth effort to get there. The walleye and Pike population is phenomenal. A well planned two day trip to fully enjoy both of our lakes would be the adventure of a lifetime for the true outdoors man. We have a 14ft Deep V boat at Ellis as well, and a temporary camp between the two lakes.
Bookings for this adventure are being accepted for the upcoming 2009 season.
